I bought a weird and cool book in Tokyo by Ken Ohyama called “Junction”. Its basically photos of huge concrete junctions around Tokyo / Japan. I found his Flickr-profile and he has posted tons of interesting photos. Check out his huge “Interchange” gallery.
We posted a link to the great ToneMatrix a while back. IKEA have made their own based on kitchen appliances. You can record your own tune and be a part of some lame competition. But its fun to create silly small tunes! Check out the shiiit-track!
I went to Tokyo for the first time back in ‘08. Such an incredible fascinating city! Maybe not the very typical holiday photo-album, but hey, those are boring, right? Anyways, photos: (oh, and you can view them larger by clicking them..)
Me and some friends made this blockbusting service back in 1999 or so. Its basically a very fun and childish way to surf your favorite websites PORNSTYLE! It crashed a time back, but now its back! Go get your pornolize baby; w w w . p o r n o l i z e . c o m!
My desktop for 20 minutes visualized through Anatoly Zenkov's java-applet
Its really fascinating to monitor the movements of your mouse. This little brilliant application do just that. Lines are mousemovement and dots are stops (bigger dots, longer stops). Check out the authors image and more at Flickr.
Peter Stormare is an awesome actor overall, but the fact that he always plays either german or russian kind of bums me out since he´s a pure viking from Sweden. Besides from his role as the Russian Cosmonaut in Armageddon he really havent done that much that´ll put an actuall smile on your face. Thats until these commercials for Wolkswagen came that is. They´ve actually allmost become classics for me already and the second and third is allso the best ones of these commercials wich you can see by clicking “Read More”.
Personally I am not the biggest fan of abstract art, but from time to time I stumble upon beautiful work. Here are some nice pieces by Aleksandra Rdest
Rdest uses a language drawn from weather patterns; inspired by sound waves, clouds, particles and cells on a microscopic level. The point of departure for these works is growth and decay; cellular division and multiplication, weather patterns biological colonization. Rdest’s love affair with colour gives rise to these paintings which are created by richly layering veils of paint to form a deep surface.
I just saw Simon Cederquist’s exhibition at Fotomessen here in Norway. I love his weird dreamy and heavy edited photos and his online portfolio showcase lots of his great work. Visit simoncederquist.com.

I live in the capitol of Norway, Oslo. Some people say its butt ugly, USA Today say its the most expensive city in the world. Oslo was founded around 1048, burned down in 1624, rebuilt and got its name Oslo in 1925 (previously named “Christiania / Kristiania”).
Lots of people dislike how it look, but after living here for 15 years or so I have learned to both love it and hate it. These photos try to view Oslo from a different side as well as the postcard type-ish… Hope you like them. Or hate them.
Baggy Bottom Boys by Jokers Of The Scene truly have a special oldschool feeling in it and the highly psychedelic musicvideo just make this shiiit better!
JOTS’ recent remixes for the likes of Mika, Acid Girls and Burns have been making waves in forward-thinking DJ sets and blog charts alike. Their original tune “Baggy Bottom Boys” has become a signature anthem – an enormous dance track that’s as moody as it is ecstatic. It’s a perfect introduction to JOTS, whose sound continues to mutate from straight-up club bangers into a deeper, darker strain of electronic dance music that’s completely original and exciting.

Russian photographer Alexey Titarenko produce really scary yet beautiful photography. Check out his webpage, and make sure you browse through the “City Of Shadows” (1992-1994).
We´re in a videofeast-period here, and this one.. this is probably the coolest music-video-thingy ever!
The sounds in this video are ACTUAL sounds from the Jeep. Everyone began rehearsing their parts 2 weeks before we shot the video. It took us 7 hours of filming to get a solid take.
The Hydra team assembled an entire still-life spread; fruits, cheeses, flowers, fish, and an uncooked pheasant. They then sealed it off in a 6×6 foot plexiglass box. 3 DSLrs, set at varying angles, were set to shoot a frame every 5 minutes for 11 days. Meanwhile, co-director Chris Mauch began to design a series of “little men,” some cute and cuddly, some not so much. In Maya, Chris and our team of volunteer animators and modelers began to build and rig the creatures.
